Wadsworth Center – Wadsworth Center is a science-based community committed to protecting and improving the health of New Yorkers through laboratory analysis, investigations and research, as well as laboratory certification and educational programs.
Wadsworth Center’s research and public health science activities take place within five divisions: Environmental Health Services, Genetics, Infectious Diseases, Laboratory Quality Certification, and Translational Medicine. Science in the pursuit of health assumes many forms at Wadsworth Center, including grant-supported research, outbreak investigations, and development of novel methods. As science evolves and technology advances, these focal points will shift.
