The Northeast Kidney Foundation seeks to prevent kidney and urinary disease, enhance the health and well being of affected individuals and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.  It serves an 18 county area serving a population of 1.5 million people. 

Volunteer opportunities include event committees, public speaking, clinical services and assistance with promotion and marketing.  Board opportunities are also available to assist in the governance and strategic direction of the organization.  2011 events include a gala fundraiser, walks in Glens Falls and Albany, a golf tournament, a bicycle safety event, chili challenge and fashion show.
