Tech Valley High School is the result of a dream to create a public school unlike any other in the region or United States. THVS provides a unique learning environment for the region’s students to study science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). It is a laboratory and model of high-quality STEM education that is designed to apply the best of what we know to transform high school education for the 21st century. The region’s 46 school districts are eligible to send students who are selected by lottery.

Student learning is linked with the entrepreneurial world. Businesses are partners in the education process, and students are engaged in learning the relevance and applications of science and technology in everyday life. At Tech Valley High students explore opportunities in the new, high tech world of STEM careers.

Tech Valley High School has attracted national interest for its innovative curriculum and is a featured model on the teaching channel. Students demonstrate success in learning such skills as critical thinking, collaboration, communication and technology literacy. Many of the region’s schools have benefited from training in TVHS best practices.
