Albany Academy for Girls & The Albany Academy are Preschool-Grade 12 independent college-preparatory single-gender schools that have been producing leaders of the Capital Region, the State of New York, and the world-at-large for 200 years. Now united into a single institution, the schools follow an innovative model of single-gender education from Pre-K through the Tenth Grade and a coordinate program in the final two years in preparation for college and beyond.

Who We Are: The Albany Academies—The Albany Academy and Albany Academy for Girls—develop capable and confident students through single-gender education in the Lower and Middle School, and through coordinate education in the Upper School.
